UBC BACK TO SCHOOL BASH
A great back to school bash was hosted at the home of Tammy & Allen Pilgrim on August 3, 2024. There were lots of fun and games including a water slide with jump house and swimming. Lots of good food and plenty of sweets and treats. We pray for a good school year and a hedge of protection around all the students and teachers this school year. 215th HOMECOMING CELEBRATION
Union Baptist Church celebrated its 215th Homecoming on July 28, 2024. Our first pastor, Larron Pilgrim, delivered the message and our former Worship Leader, Stephanie Greene, led us in worship and song. Stephanie was accompanied on the piano by her daughter, Zion, and husband, Michael, on the cajon. 115 were in attendance. A wonderful covered dish meal was shared by all following the worship service. A GOD BLESSED DAY! SEE PICTURES FROM THE SPECIAL CELEBRATION IN OUR PHOTO ALBUMS.

VBS 2024
UBC had a wonderful, fun filled week at Camp Firelight Vacation Bible School. Thirty children enjoyed their week learning how to Trust God in Every Situation! Our mission project for VBS week was an offering collection to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox ministry of Samaritans Purse. The girls and boys collected a total of $ 682.67! MOTHER'S DAY 2024
What a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day service! Greyson Rutherford and Scott Johnson accepted Jesus Christ and were baptized. Seven children were dedicated by their parents. All the mother's present were recognized. See pictures from this special day in our photo albums. |

LADIES SISTERHOOD APRIL MISSION PROJECT
For the month of April, Ladies Sisterhood is collecting dry goods and household items for a family of 10. Examples of items that would truly help and support this family: Cereal, rice, canned goods, fruit cups, peanut butter, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper. Please see the poster in the foyer for additional information and collection bin. |

SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK OFF
Great kickoff to our Sunday School classes resuming. 25 in attendance for Sunday School. Come and join us on Sunday morning at 10:00 for Sunday School. Classes are available for Senior Adults, Young Adults, Youth (7th - 12th Grade), Pre-Teen (4th - 6th Grade), Kids (1st - 3rd Grade), Preschool/Kindergarten. A new Baby Room has been set up next to the nursery and is staffed and available to parents during Sunday School. SUNDAY SCHOOL CONTINUES TO GROW! 35 WERE IN ATTENDANCE ON FEBRUARY 4TH! 41 IN ATTENDANCE ON FEBRUARY 11TH - WATCH US GROW!!
